About the AI DevOps Engineer role
The AI DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting critical applications while improving IT operations through AI-driven automation. The role combines application support, DevOps, production troubleshooting, and Agentic AI to maintain reliable and highly available systems.
The engineer will work across Linux/Unix, Java/J2EE, Oracle, and WebLogic environments, supporting deployments, incident resolution, and continuous improvement. The role also focuses on developing intelligent automation, self-healing capabilities, and AI-powered operational solutions in collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, and Database teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications, including 24×7 support as required
- Ensure high availability, SLA adherence, and operational stability
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Linux/Unix, Java/J2EE applications, Oracle Database, and WebLogic Server
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent remediation
- Support application deployments, CI/CD integration, and environment management
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Database teams to resolve production issues
- Design and implement Agentic AI solutions for IT Operations
- Build self-healing systems and automated runbooks
- Integrate AI agents with monitoring, alerting, and ITSM tools
- Drive continuous improvement through AI-driven automation and deliver measurable reductions in incidents and operational overhead
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience in Application Support and DevOps
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments, Java/J2EE applications, Oracle Database, and WebLogic Server
- Experience in production support, troubleshooting, RCA, application deployments, CI/CD integration, and environment management
- Proven hands-on expertise in Agentic AI and AI-driven automation
- Experience designing and implementing Agentic AI solutions for IT Operations
- Experience building self-healing systems and automated runbooks
- Experience integrating AI agents with monitoring, alerting, and ITSM tools
- Ability to work in APAC and US shifts and support a 24×7 operating model as required
