About the DevOps Engineer role
The DevOps Engineer will support the delivery, stability, and ongoing operations of client applications and infrastructure. The role involves managing CI/CD activities, enhancing Jenkins pipelines, supporting Kubernetes and containerized environments, and monitoring application and infrastructure performance. The engineer will also handle incidents, troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain system health using monitoring and observability tools. Working closely with development, infrastructure, and support teams, the role will help ensure reliable, stable, and available application services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute CI/CD activities for our client project, including Jenkins pipeline enhancement and deployment
- Support BAU operations, including incident (INC) management and infrastructure health checks
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Splunk and Dynatrace
- Troubleshoot deployment, application, and infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Support and maintain Kubernetes environments and containerized applications
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure application stability and availability
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes; AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) is a plus
- Experience with Kustomize or similar deployment/configuration tools
- Proficient in Java programming
- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace
- Good knowledge of application monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and infrastructure health checks
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
