About the Functional Tester role
We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Tester with strong technical background in backend systems, database architecture, and application development. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle, Java, Linux scripting, and system troubleshooting, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality technical outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce clear and structured technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports
- Deliver high-quality, reliable, and well-documented technical solutions
- Work independently under pressure with minimal supervision while maintaining delivery quality
- Develop applications and conduct functional testing using Java, Oracle Database, and Linux
- Troubleshoot using Java application troubleshooting, including JVM-level debugging, exception handling, and unit testing using JUni
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development, testing, or technical support roles within enterprise environments
- Expert/Extensive experience in Oracle RDBMS architecture, including database schema design, indexing strategies, and constraint implementation
- Strong expertise in Oracle database development, including DML operations, SQL scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and PL/SQL programming
- Extensive experience in Linux shell scripting for automation, data processing, and system support tasks
- Extensive experience in Java backend development, particularly in designing and implementing multi-threaded applications
- Experience in source code management tools such as Git and SVN, including branching and version control best practices
- Good English communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills for solution walkthroughs and technical discussions.
- Experience in Java/Spring Web Services development, including SOAP and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with static code analysis tools, such as SonarQube, for code quality and compliance.
