ICT Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network & Security Engineer to join our Network Operations and Engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of a team responsible for Network Engineering, Operations & Deployment, supporting enterprise data centre, office, remote and public cloud network environments
• This is a technical hands-on role within the Network Services team as a Senior Network & Security Engineer
• Lead network deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of network solutions
• Work closely with vendors and third-party providers for solution architecture, equipment procurement and installation
• Provide Tier-3 support for network and security-related issues and participate in a rotating Network Operations on-call schedule, including weekends, supporting a multi-vendor enterprise network
• Create, maintain and review High Level Design, Low Level Design and operational practices across the teams
• Drive network operations and day-to-day task efficiencies through automation
• Experience in deploying and working with AI tools applied to network operations, including AIOps platforms, AI-assisted troubleshooting and anomaly detection
• Experience in deploying and configuring AI integration solutions that enable large language models to interact with and query network infrastructure and operational data is highly desirable

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of experience in core network technologies, including enterprise networking, firewalls, load balancing and web application security
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex network data centre or public cloud migration projects
• Proven ability to implement and oversee large-scale network deployments
• One or more of the following certifications: CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, CCSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or equivalent
• Strong fundamental knowledge in LAN, WAN and network security technologies and products
• Excellent project and vendor management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences and senior management
• Expertise in enterprise network infrastructure and Cisco ACI deployments
• Expertise in application delivery network technologies, including load balancers and WAF solutions
• Expertise in managing enterprise firewalls and intrusion prevention systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with proxy and CDN technologies
• Experience managing IPAM, DNS and DHCP solutions
• Experience managing network micro-segmentation and network security solutions
• Experience managing enterprise voice and communication infrastructure
• Experience with network monitoring and management platforms
• Experience performing deep packet capture analysis using Wireshark or similar products
• Experience in network automation using Ansible and Terraform
• Experience managing network access control, identity-based network security and firewall policy management solutions
