About the ICT Infrastructure Engineer role

The ICT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure solutions that support enterprise platform operations and critical business applications. This role works closely with business and technical teams to translate operational requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure designs while ensuring compliance with organizational and government standards. The engineer leads infrastructure initiatives, provides technical guidance, and serves as the primary point of contact for platform operations, driving system reliability, security, and continuous improvement across the application environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement projects to ensure service delivery covering design, setup, configuration, implementation and commissioning of platform operations Applications
  • Translate business requirements into platform operations infrastructure design
  • Ensure compliance with the client’s Technical Architecture, SG-TRM, IM8 and IT Policies
  • Manage infrastructure projects and services for platform operations applications. (eg. APIMG, ServiceNow, etc)
  • Manage platform operations system architecture for new and existing applications
  • Serve as the main infrastructure point-of-contact for platform operations applications
  • Work with client team on infrastructure matters impacting platform operations applications
  • Assist in infrastructure architecture reviews, endorse hardening standards, PT and VAST remediation for platform operations applications
  • Maintain a sound understanding of the platform operations application’s environment
