About the Low-Code Engineer role

The Low-Code Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business applications using low-code and no-code platforms to improve operational efficiency and accelerate digital transformation. This role works closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions. The Low-Code Engineer develops automated workflows, integrates enterprise systems, ensures compliance with security and governance standards, and supports the full application lifecycle through testing, deployment, documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy applications using low code/no code platforms such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar tools
  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Develop automated workflows, forms, and integrations to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including, but not limited to:
    • Solution Design Document
    • Configuration & Environment Details
    • Security & Compliance Documentation
    • Deployment Guide
    • Maintenance & Support Guide
    • User Guide
    • Training Material
    • Testing & Validation Report
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to deliver high-quality applications that meet business needs
  • Ensure compliance with client’s ICT security and data governance policies
  • Monitor and maintain deployed solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 2 years of experience in application development, with a strong focus on low-code/no-code platforms
  • Configure and administer low-code platforms, managing workflows, rules engines, process logic, data validation, and UI components
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform)
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Familiar with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficient in Git and experienced in agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration)
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), databases (SQL, NoSQL), and API integrations with enterprise systems
