About the Senior DevOps Engineer role
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing and enhancing enterprise backend applications while ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable system delivery. This role drives CI/CD implementation, supports high-performance integration platforms, and ensures compliance with security and operational standards. Working within an Agile environment, the engineer leverages modern DevSecOps practices, cloud-native platforms, and middleware technologies to optimize application performance, automate deployments, and strengthen system resilience. The role also collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions and support continuous improvement across development and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Backend application development and enhancement
- Deployment and CI/CD implementation
- Ensuring InfoSec and compliance standards
- Supporting high-performance and scalable enterprise integrations
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Java backend development
- Candidate background must be pre-checked/verifie
- Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development
- Java 17 is mandatory; Java 21 is highly preferred
- Expertise in high-performance and parallel processing systems
- Strong experience with integration strategies and middleware technologies
- Hands-on DevSecOps experience with:
- GitHub Actions
- Red Hat OpenShift
- Splunk
- Technical skills include Java 21, Apache Camel, IBM MQ, GitHub Actions, Red Hat OpenShift, and Splunk
- Secondary Skills: Apache Tomcat
- Methodology: Agile Development environment
