About the Software Engineer role
The Software Engineer will take end-to-end ownership of business-critical API-driven platforms and web applications, focusing on scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. The role involves developing and supporting applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and REST APIs, while contributing to CI/CD, cloud-native development, and technical architecture discussions. The engineer will collaborate with global teams, help translate design requirements into effective technical solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of the development and delivery of business-critical API-driven platforms and web applications
- Design, develop, enhance, and support robust REST-based APIs and modern applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and security
- Serve as the technical counterpart to senior design stakeholders, ensuring proposed solutions are technically feasible, architecturally sound, and efficiently implementable
- Bridge the gap between design requirements and engineering execution
- Implement development standards and ensure code quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and promote secure software delivery practices
- Collaborate with global teams and participate in architecture discussions and integration activities
- Contribute to technology decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and support applications using Java, React, REST APIs, and Spring Boot
- Build and support secure cloud-native applications
- Apply generative AI, agentic AI, or AI-assisted software engineering practices where applicable
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java application development
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with React
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Good knowledge of building secure cloud-native applications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure software delivery practices
- Exposure to generative AI, agentic AI, or AI-assisted software engineering practices is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under time and workload pressure
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-region and global teams
