Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead (Java) to lead application development, design scalable microservices-based solutions, and provide technical guidance to the development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and production troubleshooting, with proven leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of developers (minimum 2 years of team lead experience required).
• Provide technical direction for application design, development, and deployment.
• Ensure best practices in coding standards, architecture, and system design.

Application Development (Java / Spring Boot)

• Design and develop scalable microservices-based applications using Spring Boot Web Services.
• Ensure effective microservices intercommunication and system integration (REST-based architecture).
• Develop high-quality backend services using Core Java, including collections, exception handling, and database connectivity.

DevOps & Cloud / Containerization

• Work with OpenShift for deployment, troubleshooting, and production support (minimum 2 years hands-on experience).
• Apply CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Work with containerized environments and support DevOps practices in OpenShift.

Database & Integration

• Implement and maintain persistence layers using ORM frameworks such as MyBatis or equivalent Spring Boot-compatible ORM tools.

System Support & Troubleshooting

• Perform application performance tuning and production troubleshooting.
• Analyze system behavior, memory issues, and runtime performance bottlenecks.
• Work on Linux-based environments for server operations, logs analysis, and resource utilization monitoring.

Code Quality & Testing

• Ensure code quality using tools such as SonarQube or equivalent static code analysis tools.
• Support unit testing and integration testing as part of development deliverables.
• Build and deliver fully tested components ready for QA and system testing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10–15 years of Java development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Team Lead / Technical Lead experience.
• Strong experience in Spring Boot Microservices architecture (minimum 5 years).
• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Collections, Exception Handling, JDBC, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in OpenShift (minimum 2 years).
• Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and containerized environments.
• Strong Linux command-line and server troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks (MyBatis or similar).
• Experience in application performance testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube.

Good to Have:

• Experience in Python development (1+ year).
• Experience in BRE / FICO Blaze (minimum 1 year).
• Exposure to enterprise-grade DevOps and container orchestration environments.
• Primary stack includes Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with DevOps using OpenShift, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Docker, plus MyBatis, Linux, and SonarQube, and optional Python and FICO Blaze.

Work Result / Deliverables

• Build and deliver fully functional, unit-tested application components.
• Support system integration testing, QA testing, and UAT phases.
• Ensure stable, scalable, and high-performance production deployments.
