About the TMS Support Analyst role

The TMS Support Analyst provides techno-functional support for Transport Management Systems, ensuring smooth operations across logistics and supply chain environments. This role manages incidents, service requests, and system issues within SLA timelines while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders. The analyst supports system integrations, troubleshoots application issues, and collaborates with regional teams to maintain system stability and drive continuous improvements. Additionally, the role contributes to system maintenance and enhancements, leveraging technical knowledge in databases, cloud technologies, and integration platforms to deliver reliable and efficient transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide techno-functional support for Transport Management Systems (TMS), assisting country and regional teams in responding to incidents, problems, and service requests
  • Manage and resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs, coordinating closely with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Support system integrations and troubleshoot issues related to transport and logistics applications
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure smooth operations, issue resolution, and continuous system improvements
  • Participate in system maintenance, enhancements, and support activities related to transport systems and connected platforms

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of IT experience, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry
  • Proficiency in SQL/Oracle databases
  • Good understanding of multiple technologies, including:
    • Cloud Computing / SaaS
    • Mobile Technologies
    • UI Technologies
    • Systems Integration
    • Web Services
  • Experience with EDI integratione2open TMSe2net, and support for Transport Management Systems will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of an integrated team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to conceptualise, visualise, and support solution-oriented problem solving
