About the UI/UX Designer role
The UI/UX Designer for PX designs clear, efficient, and role-based experiences for partners, business users, operations teams, and technical stakeholders. The role focuses on simplifying complex workflows, improving onboarding and support journeys, designing data-rich interfaces, and supporting enterprise-grade usability across partner-facing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct partner research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, usability testing, and support journey reviews
- Design onboarding flows, partner portals, admin screens, request workflows, documentation discovery experiences, and dashboard views
- Map end-to-end partner journeys, including handoffs, governance checks, dependencies, approvals, and support touchpoints
- Design information architecture and data-dense interfaces that improve clarity, efficiency, and operational decision-making
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and partner-facing teams to ensure practical and compliant designs
- Translate complex enterprise workflows into clear prototypes, specifications, reusable patterns, and implementation-ready designs
Requirements:
- Required 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools, including reusable components, variants, interaction flows, design systems, and developer handoff practices
- Experience designing complex enterprise workflow systems, partner portals, admin consoles, operational dashboards, approval flows, status tracking, and role-based interfaces for multiple stakeholder groups
- Ability to conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, service blueprinting, and workflow analysis across B2B, G2G, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal operations teams
- Strong information architecture and interaction design skills, especially for data-heavy screens, task queues, forms, document repositories, notifications, exception handling, and multi-step submission or review journeys
- Ability to simplify complex business rules, governance checks, dependencies, approvals, and operational constraints into intuitive user journeys, prototypes, wireframes, and implementation-ready specifications
- Good understanding of accessibility, responsive design, form usability, dashboard usability, data visualisation, and design patterns that support reliable enterprise adoption
- Familiarity with common data environments, BIM-enabled workflows, project collaboration platforms, digital handover, construction or estate-related workflows, contract administration, and project management processes would be advantageous
- Basic understanding of enterprise system concepts such as API-enabled services, system integrations, data exchange, role-based access, audit trails, workflow automation, and platform scalability
- Comfortable working with Product Managers, Engineers, Solution Architects, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Security, and business stakeholders in agile or product-led delivery environments
- Clear communication and storytelling skills to explain design rationale, user pain points, workflow trade-offs, adoption risks, and user impact to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
