About the Project Manager role
The Project Manager will support the internal IT application team in managing daily operations, ensuring system governance compliance, manage project-related activities of digital services, and handling incidents effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Operations
- Manage tenant user accounts and subscriptions across Cloud CMP, CSP, SHIP, SHIP-HATS, TechBiz, POSTMAN, WOGAA, and Entrust portals.
- Administer project tools, apps, and common user groups including onboarding, offboarding, access permissions, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee renewal of project tokens (e.g., GitLab, Nexus Repo, SonarQube, FOD) and API keys.
- Monitor subscription usage and costs across platforms (e.g., SHIP-HATS, CSP, CMP).
- Manage SSL certificate lifecycle (CSR, KEY, CER, PEM, PFS, P7B) for internet and intranet domains.
- Maintain groups and role-based access policies for cloud resources
- System Governance
- Facilitate and monitor system governance activities including regular security scans, IT audits, risk assessments, account and access reviews, and compliance checks.
- Oversee the remediation of identified vulnerabilities and contribute to periodic reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and governance processes.
- Ensure adherence to IM8 guidelines, Client security policies, service level agreements, and industry best practices.
- Project & Incident Management
- Support the planning and execution of IT initiatives, including system upgrades, feature enhancements, and platform transitions.
- Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and track the validity and renewal timelines of contracts, systems, and service subscriptions.
- Identify, assess, and monitor project risks; assist in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including root cause analysis, documentation, resolution tracking, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all incidents are accurately logged, appropriately escalated, and resolved within defined service level agreements (SLAs) and timelines.
- Support in administrative tasks
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in system operations, incident and project management within enterprise or government environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), including user access management, certificate/key lifecycle handling, and subscription services administration.
- Familiarity with government IT frameworks and compliance standards such as IM8, SSP, and GCC/GCC+ environments.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, SHIP-HATS toolchains, and cloud-native services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Skilled in preparing technical documentation, audit responses, and governance reports.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, AWS or Azure Cloud, Agile/Scrum Master, ITIL, COMIT, or Information Security (e.g., CISSP, ISO 27001) are a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience is required
- Minimum 2 years of government work experience related to the work scope is preferred
