About the IT Project Manager role
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT projects from initiation to closure, acting as the client’s contract manager. The role involves engaging with contractors, third-party vendors, and business users to ensure project and system requirements are met. The successful candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, review maintenance reports, track cybersecurity compliance, and provide regular project updates to the client’s reporting officer. Additionally, the Project Manager will facilitate meetings, manage stakeholder communications, and support audit preparation activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT projects from initiation to closure as client’s contract manager
- Engage with client’s contractors, third-party contractors, and business users to ensure project and system requirements are met
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Review monthly maintenance reports for IT systems
- Track and review to ensure systems cyber security compliance
- Provide regular project status updates to client’s reporting officer
- Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communications
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of IT project management experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of IM8 policy
- Experience in Singapore Governments projects
- Experience in Cloud-related projects
- Familiar with common audit findings and remediation practices. Able to support audit preparation activities
