About the IT Proposal Writer role
We are looking for an IT Proposal Writer to develop and manage compelling, customised responses to RFPs/RFQs. The successful candidate will coordinate across teams to draft, edit, and finalize proposal content, ensure compliance with bid requirements, and maintain a repository of proposal materials. This role requires excellent writing skills, strong organisation, and a good grasp of IT concepts to align technical content with client goals.
Responsibilities:
- Review RFP/RFQ and bid opportunities.
- Customise proposal templates and responses based on specifications
- Write, develop, and edit end-to-end proposal content for various RFPs/RFQs
- Take ownership of proposal documents throughout the cycle and manage the timely creation of compelling proposal documentation
- Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, coordination, writing, review, and approval.
- Provides additional support to maintain a library/repository of proposal-related materials such as proposal content, presentations, case studies, proposal responses, and other bid-related references)
- Find, analyse, and synthesise written content from proposal libraries; revise and repurpose it for new efforts, ensuring the content is tailored to meet the solicitation requirements
- Support all efforts to increase proposal win rates
- Performs ad-hoc tasks, such as supporting online procurement activities, finding opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Information Technology/Journalism/Marketing
- Experience in creating customized written content for proposals, understanding of proposal lifecycle, and content management.
- Familiarity with web development & UXUI and can understand said concepts in a concise manner when working with the technical team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create compelling and compliant content in response to RFP/RFQ that meets customer goals and objectives
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, primarily Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
