Mobile Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Native Developer to join our development team and support the modernization of a mission-critical mobile application used by couriers on handheld scanning devices. You will collaborate closely with internal developers to migrate the existing application from Kotlin to Android Native, while leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal development teams to modernize the existing GCA mobile application
• Migrate application components from Kotlin to Android Native
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android mobile applications
• Utilize AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and improve productivity
• Ensure application performance, stability, maintainability, and code quality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
• Work proactively with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Android Native application development
• Advanced proficiency in mobile application development
• Experience working with Kotlin and Android technologies
• Good understanding of Android application architecture and development best practices
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants
• Experience working in Agile development teams
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
