About the Project Manager role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of ICT systems that enable business transformation and operational excellence. This role requires a product-centric approach, ensuring that all projects align with strategic objectives and are delivered within defined cost, timeline, and quality parameters. You will oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and business case development to implementation, while engaging stakeholders, mitigating risks, and driving solutions that prioritise user needs. Success in this role requires combining technical understanding with strong leadership and agile delivery expertise to ensure impactful and efficient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling business cases for ICT systems that align with corporate strategy and agency IT masterplans
- Establish comprehensive system roadmaps and execute procurement strategies that deliver optimal value for the organisation
- Manage the complete project lifecycle from conception to implementation, ensuring deliverables meet identified business needs within agreed cost, timeline and quality parameters
- Develop detailed project plans, identify and mitigate potential risks, and maintain proactive stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery process.
- Serve as the internal champion for product-centric mindset and agile delivery methodologies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and user-focused outcomes
- Conduct effective user engagement sessions and ensure solutions are designed with end-user needs at the forefront
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of project management experience in similar capacity, with demonstrable expertise in agile delivery methodologies
- Portfolio showcases hands-on project management success, with consulting, software development or design experience
- Technical competency in various development environments within medium to large-scale software projects
- Possess excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with proven ability to influence decision-makers and pitch innovative ideas
- Prior experience with co-sourcing delivery approaches and familiarity with Singapore Government Technology Stack will be valuable
