About the Project Manager role
The Project Manager oversees end-to-end IT project delivery, acting as the client’s contract manager and ensuring requirements are met across vendors, contractors, and business users. The role includes coordinating cross-functional teams, reviewing system maintenance and cybersecurity compliance, providing regular project updates, and facilitating project meetings. It also supports governance activities such as audit preparation and ensuring systems meet required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT projects from initiation to closure as client’s contract manager
- Engage with client’s contractors, third-party contractors, and business users to ensure project and system requirements are met
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Review monthly maintenance reports for IT systems
- Track and review to ensure systems cyber security compliance
- Provide regular project status updates to client’s reporting officer
- Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communications
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of IT project management experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred skillsets/experiences:
- Knowledge of IM8 policy
- Experience in Singapore Governments projects
- Experience in Cloud-related projects
- Familiar with common audit findings and remediation practices. Able to support audit preparation activities
