About the Project Manager (Product)

The Project Manager drives the success of digital products from development to adoption. This role partners closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to plan sprints, manage progress, conduct testing, and ensure timely delivery. Post-release, the Project Manager leads user education efforts, supports issue resolution, and gathers feedback to enhance performance. The ideal candidate has experience in end-to-end product development, strong communication and organisational skills, and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Balsamiq. Certifications in Agile or Product Management are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product manager and designers to conduct user Interviews
  • Partner with product manager to run sprint plannings, scrums, retrospectives
  • Track and manage development pace to ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct and support thorough systems, users, and security tests pre-release
  • Run user education campaigns to drive product adoption post-release
  • Provide product support and work with product/engineering to identify and fix bugs

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, product management-related degrees or diplomas are a plus
  • Experience in building digital products
  • Proven track record of delivering effective products with limited resources
  • End to end experience working with product team to build products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, minute taking and technical writing
  • Highly meticulous and tenacious, follows up with things to closure
  • Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with platforms like Confluence, JIRA, Balsamiq are a plus
  • Certifications like Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analysis Professional are a plus
