About the Sitecore Developer role

The Sitecore Developer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Sitecore CMS platforms to ensure reliable and secure digital experiences. This role handles content updates, system configuration, troubleshooting across frontend and backend components, and the implementation of enhancements and upgrades. The developer works within SLA-driven environments to resolve incidents, support security remediation, and maintain system performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing Sitecore environments hosted on cloud platforms such as Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day Sitecore CMS support (content updates, configuration, structural changes)
  • Troubleshoot Sitecore issues across frontend and backend components
  • Maintain Sitecore CM/CD environments, search indexes, and integrations
  • Implement Sitecore enhancements and new components when required
  • Perform Sitecore patching, upgrades, and configuration updates
  • Support incident resolution aligned with SLA timelines
  • Support remediation of vulnerabilities identified through security scans or VAPT
  • Maintain proper technical documentation (configurations, deployments, runbooks)
  • Support transition from incumbent vendor where required

Requirements:

  • Recent hands-on experience in Sitecore CMS (within the last 2 years)
  • Strong experience in .NET / C#
  • Experience supporting Sitecore CM/CD environments
  • Experience working with Azure-hosted applications
  • Experience in Sitecore troubleshooting and maintenance support
  • Experience handling production incidents and bug fixing
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices (OWASP awareness)
  • Experience working in support or SLA-based environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Sitecore certification
  • Experience with Sitecore Helix architecture
  • Experience with Sitecore upgrades or patching
  • Experience supporting public sector or enterprise websites
  • Experience working in structured maintenance environments
