About the Software Support role

The Software Support Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing business-critical applications including IAS, IBS+, IBBR, and IBPS. This role handles Build and Run activities by resolving ServiceNow tickets, troubleshooting application issues, and supporting ongoing operations across multiple technologies such as IBM Informix 4GL, Java, Jasper, C#, VB.NET, and MySQL databases. The engineer works closely with stakeholders to ensure system stability, data integrity, and timely issue resolution, and may be required to support extended or regional shift schedules to meet operational needs. With strong technical proficiency and a service-oriented mindset, the role ensures reliable application performance within data-driven and analytics-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Description: Develop and support applications IAS, IBS+, IBBR and IBPS. These applications are written in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, Jasper, C# and VB.net
  • Work on ServiceNow tickets requests
  • Work 12-hour standby shift during weekend (if needed)
  • Work in 8-hour shifts following EU hours (as needed)
  • Support the Build and Run Activity for IAS, IBS+, IBBR and IBPS
