Singapore – The Singapore Government Technology Agency (GovTech) awards USER Experience Researchers Pte Ltd as one of the selected agile design and development partners for all Singapore ministries and agencies for 5 years with a 2-year potential extension to drive the nation’s digital transformation.

USER received confirmation of the awarding on December 28, 2020. The company was one of five selected from nearly 100 firms from across the world. Each company proved their mettle and capabilities to the government agency, but only USER and four others were tagged most competent for the work required.

Serving the nation and its people

It’s not the first time for USER to participate in Singapore’s drive to digital innovation. In 2017, GovTech also chose USER as a local partner to provide agencies agile application development and services for UX design. Their products served various ministries, departments, statutory boards, and select participating entities.

The awarding of the new contract shows how USER is an industry leader in UX design and development. GovTech implements strict standards and guides for collaborating agencies for their delivery of digital services.

Some of their previous partnerships include digital transformation campaigns for businesses. Together with the government, USER has also assisted in accelerating the enhancement of public services along with other participants from the private sector.  

USER’s new contract refreshes the company’s involvement in Singapore’s “Smart Nation” initiative, which is spearheaded by GovTech. It will serve to expand their portfolio of solutions that will give citizens a better customer experience through enriched digital governance.
